Grandparents at VCS
One of the goals of VCS is to cultivate a greater sense of community and family involvement. Parents, children, and even extended family are at the very center of our mission. As a Christian school, we recognize that God's love and the love of the extended family can play an important role in helping teach today's youth.
We count it a blessing to have grandparents working together with our students, faculty, and staff, using their gifts to further our ministry. Grandparents can help children develop character traits such as honesty, diligence, hard work, and service to others. More important, their experiences of seeing God work in both the good times and the difficult times of life encourage the faith of their grandchildren.
The purpose of this web page is to provide an opportunity for VCS grandparents to stay informed and connected with their grandchild's school. As a grandparent of a VCS student, we encourage you to follow us online and at various events throughout the school year. Following are some ways you can be involved. Thank you for being active participants in the lives of your grandchildren.
