Green Team at VCS

Students learn throughout the year about how to take care of the world around them. Mrs. Havrilla and Ms. D. host bi-monthly meetings where the students discuss strategies and share ideas about Green Team ideas.

Students help with composting (ask about Mrs. Havrilla’s big bucket of worms!) and helping the campus with water conservation. They also help with maintaining the flower beds and student vegetable garden on campus!

We also have a yearly Green Team Assembly to learn about waste reduction and recycling programs.
