Judge John Curry visited all the classrooms to celebrate Law Week with the students. He taught them about the Magna Carta, which is having its' 800th anniversary this year. He read them the book Yertle the Turtle by Dr. Seuss and challenged each student to write a poem based on the book. Teachers chose the top three poems and Mr. Curry presented the winners with a Sounders jersey at 8th Grade Graduation and the End-of-Year Awards Assembly.
